Cutera's management team has extensive experience, providing the collective depth and business knowledge to successfully manage our business and world-class portfolio of products.

David H. Mowry has 29 years of experience in the Medical Device industry across multiple market segments and serves as Cutera’s Chief Executive Officer and member of Cutera’s board of directors.
Previous to Cutera, Dave served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Vyaire Medical, recognized leader in respiratory diagnostics, ventilation, and airway management solutions. Prior to Vyaire, Dave served from October 2015 to May 2016 as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of directors for Wright Medical Group N.V. (Nasdaq: WMGI), a global medical device company focused on extremities and biologics products. Prior to Wright Medical Group, Mr. Mowry served as President and Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of directors of Tornier N.V. from February 2013 until October 2015, at which time Tornier and Wright Medical Group merged, Prior to his assignment as Tornier’s CEO, Dave has held executive leadership positions at Covidien plc, ev3, Inc. and Zimmer Spine, Inc. Dave received a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Mr. Seth brings to Cutera over two decades of finance and business development experience mainly in the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as VP of Finance, Global Orthopaedics Franchise at Smith & Nephew. Prior to that, he served as the Head of Finance, U.S. Surgical at Alcon Labs where he supported a capital and recurring revenue stream business for nearly four years. Prior to his time at Alcon, Mr. Seth spent nine years at Stryker Corporation where he served in various roles across the business, including as Controller of the company’s European Division. Prior to his roles at Stryker, Mr. Seth worked at Whirlpool Corporation. Prior to Whirlpool, Mr. Seth started his career in public accounting in Mumbai and then earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Mumbai’s M. M. K. College of Economics and Commerce. He is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

As Chief Technology Officer at Cutera, Michael directs research and development activities ranging from early phase R&D all the way through product development. Previous to this role, Michael served as Vice President of Research and Development of Cutera from 2012 to 2015. Under his leadership, Cutera released multiple innovative platforms, as well as product line extensions including Enlighten (the world’s first dual wavelength, dual pulse duration picosecond aesthetic laser) and Excel HR.
In addition to starting his own company, Femtoblanc Inc., Michael has led various teams of engineers and scientists at a number of successful early to mid-stage companies, including LenSx (acquired by Alcon), Newport Corporation and Intralase Corporation (acquired by Advanced Medical Optics).
Michael graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University, and completed his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical and Material Physics at the University of California, Irvine. He is the named inventor in 10 U.S. patents and is the author of 17 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
